Welcome to a new school year with Kids On Line Academy (KOLA). We are glad that you are part of KOLA. We hope that things are going great at your house and that you are well on your way to having an AWESOME year! I just wanted to check in and make sure that you have what you need to succeed in the courses that your student(s) are enrolled in.
Here are some announcements for our KOLA students.
Course Login Information: You should have received the login information for all courses so if you do not have access to any of them, please let me know immediately so I can get that to you.
Tales2Go - Possible New Course: The suggestion has been made to add Tales2Go to our curriculum options. We have looked into it and it is something that we could do if enough students are willing to enroll in that course. Tales2Go is an audio library of over 6000 books for the beginning to the advanced reader. It would be 4 credits at $8 a credit so the tuition would be $32 for the year. PLEASE REPLY to this email and let me know if you would be interested in adding this course. Here is their website so you can learn more: https://www.tales2go.com
Additional Seats: We have some additional seats available in most of the courses that we offer. We need to fill these spots with students if at all possible so if you have any friends or family who might be interested, please pass along our website.
Hogle Zoo Field Trip: For our students in Utah, we have a field trip scheduled for Hogle Zoo on Friday, Oct. 13th. This is free for all KOLA students but space is limited. If you would like to come, please RSVP as soon as possible, no later than October 10th so you are on the list. Here are the details:
WHEN: Friday, October 13th at 9:30 am
GATE CHECK-IN: 10:00 am
WHERE: Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City, Utah
COST: FREE for KOLA STUDENTS
ADULTS: 1 FREE ticket for every 5 students
