I was going to write a full newsletter to go with this but it never happened so here is a quick note on a field trip opportunity that you may have already noticed on the website.
FREE Fieldtrip: This weekend, there is a fun rock show in Ogden, Utah called the Gemstone Junction. KOLA students and their friends can get in free with their chaperones. We have permission to open this up to our FRIENDS who homeschool as well so feel free to share this page with friends who would like to attend. You are welcome to bring money for grab bags and more (Booths often have jewelry or trinkets or grab bags of rocks for $1.00 or so which makes it fun for kids to buy a bag of rocks... as if they need more rocks! :-)
WHAT: Gemstone Junction
WHEN: April 7, 8, and 9, 2017 starting at 10:00 am
WHERE: Golden Spike Arena
1000 North 1200 West OGDEN, Utah
-Go in at main door (north door)
COST: FREE for KOLA STUDENTS & their siblings
ADULTS: FREE
No need to RSVP; Just tell them that you are a KOLA STUDENT on a field trip when you go in.
If your FRIENDS who homeschool would like to attend, they should tell the person at the door that they are HOMESCHOOL STUDENTS on a field trip.
